My Adventures To Leeds Trinity Uni

Meow, so a while ago, college emailed me about a Journalism Week at Leeds Trinity University so I thought that the right thing to do being a 'writer' was to write about it so I hope that you enjoy this little ramble about my day out. Do you want to go to university? This may be the blog post for you!

So, lets flash back to a few moons ago... I'll be a bit more accurate and say a month ago... So, this time last month, I was on the way home when I got a ping on my phone... As this happens every other minute, I had to wonder what the ping was for and then check it out. I realised that it was an email from my course tutor that I see once a week forwarding an email about a Journalism Week at Leeds Trinity University with the line, 'Hey, I thought that this may be up your street.' She was right. I flicked through the email and realised that it was up my entire city... Not literally of course!

A week or so went by and I had sorted out the day that I was going to go as college were only going to let me have a day off for it for reasons. I slowly sorted out who I wanted to see on that day and slowly sorted everything out in my head like I do for anything especially events...

It came to the day, I went into my town centre and picked up the glasses that I had been waiting for... I shall talk about that some other time... I met the friend from college that I was actually going to the day at the university with. We set off and then ended up in Leeds Town Centre instead of Horsforth... This is where the adventure kicks in... This meant that we had to walk all the way down to Leeds Bus Station whilst enjoying a brief chat and enjoying some of the sights that were offered on the day within the town centre including the quirky buskers...

We got to the bus station and after finding the correct bus to get to the university, we had to wait a tiring fourty minutes for the bus in name which meant sitting on a cold silver chair whilst looking out of a window...

We eventually got onto the bus and sat down for our adventure whilst a group of talkative students at the back boomed the bus. This happened for all of the journey which made it quite entertaining. I don't know if that makes me weird as I love watching people or eavesdropping. I especially love going into a restaurant or a cafe or a coffee shop, watching people and making up stories about them in my head...

We eventually got to the university and wandered around until we found the reception.. We then entered into a world full of students and people in suits... There was ao one that  sheet with times on which stated that the next seminar would be at 2... It was 12:16... We had nothing to do with no one that I knew in an unfamiliar place so I created a scene which is probably more commonly known as the browse sweep... I checked my phone, looked at the suave businessmen dressed in suits and instantly left... If I knew someone then I would have stayed...

I hope you have enjoyed this little ramble and if you went to Leeds Trinity's Journalism Week then comment down below! If you are going to university then I wish you all the luck! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post and I hope to see you next time!

Meow!
