The Best Freshers Events For Those Who Don't Like Clubbing

Hey!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I know that for some of the country, Freshers Week is nearly upon us and I thought that I would suggest some alternative events to go to if you're not completely keen on clubbing.

When anyone thinks of freshers, the first few things peoplethink about are eating noodles in your underwear, going out clubbing via a freshers event and the freshers flu... The only problem with that is that the stereotypes of freshers generalise students

Welcome Events:

No matter which University you attend, there will be a welcome event which might be in the form of something such as a tea party or a picnic to ensure that students can introduce themselves to others in a cool, calm environment. The fun thing about these events is that you're not normally in a closed off environment such as a club and there is normally some form of free food.

Shopping Centre Lock Ins

The fun thing about shopping centre lock ins are that you can have a good time, introduce yourself to where you're going to be getting probably a good amount of your possessions from and you get some great discounts and sometimes free food and goodies so why wouldn't you want to go! There is normally loud music but there is normally quieter areas of the shopping centre or the outside areas for when you want a breather!

City Events
Sometimes, there's a city event going on which will consist of local and more well known businesses that come together for the day to show you what the city that you are studying in has to offer. These sort of events normally have businesses such as hairdressers, food and miuch more which means that you know what is around you without feeling like you're still in a unknown daze.

Vintage Fairs

Going to a vintage fair might seem a bit out of date for a freshers fair but I think that it's a great thing for those who love vintage items and for those who want a good discount! As you get to roam, you're not in one enclosed space. It also means that you have the opportunity to meet likeminded students who like the same sort of things that you do!

Do you have any other suggestions? Let me know down below!

I hope that you have enjoyed this student based blog post! I hope that you have a great day and I hope to see you next time for another amazing blog post!

Thanks for reading!
