Munching To My Own Groovy Beat | Aldi Groovy Biscuits Review

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! Whilst I was on my Aldi quarantine shop, I saw some interesting products that I wanted to try. So, I thought I'd tell you all about one of those products in today's blog post.

I remember when I was in my youth, that supermarkets used to sell M&M and Twix based biscuit snacks. These used to consist of, shortbread biscuit, chocolate, and either caramel underneath the chocolate for the Twix ones, or M&M's on top for the M&M ones. So, when I was in Aldi, I noticed a packet that showed a product that resembled the M&M ones and I knew that I had to have them.

I love the textural difference in each and every one of these snacks. The mix of crumbly shortbread, mixed with the smooth caramel and chocolate and then the crunchy candy shells is exquisite. It's like a party in your mouth.

These snacks are very tasty and once you have had one, you end up wanting more. The taste of the buttery shortbread goes beautifully with the buttery caramel and sweet chocolate. I know that describing all of this makes the product seem very sickly and sweet but there is something about these snacks that aren't too sweet. I think that these would go perfectly with a hot drink and a good TV show. They are only 99p for a pack too which is a steal!

Have you tried these? Do you remember the old biscuits that I am on about? What are your favourite biscuits? Let me know down below!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Absolutely the best biscuits ever invented!! I can easily munch my way through 10 or 12. They are just perfect but do suffer uneven bean distribution from time to time.

6 is average. 8 beans very lucky indeed but some unfortunate groovies have only a bean or two.

Im just munching some right now. Yum!
