Milka Bubbly Alpine Milk Chocolate Bar Review

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post. I hope that everything is going well for you! I thought that today, I would talk to you all about the Milka Bubbly Chocolate Bar.

I recognised this bar when I bought it, as I have viewed this bar before at Morrisons in the past and I have thought about buying it. I finally bit the bullet last week, when I viewed it whilst making my weekly food shop adventure.

'This Bubbly Milk Chocolate Bar takes Milka's Classic Milk Chocolate and adds a fun twist! Little pockets of air give this bar a uniquely soft and velvety texture, all with the natural sweetness of Alpine Milk.' - Amazon.

I wasn't sure on what I was expecting the consistency of this bar. When I opened it, I found that the bar was covered in Bubbles. Kind of like the well known Nestle Aero Bar, but these bubbles ranged in size compared to Aero, which is normally just one consistent size. The texture on the inside of this bar is whipped but creamy at the same time. It sounds weird, but the bar reminded me of a homemade Chocolate Mousse, whereas Aero reminds me of a store bought Chocolate Mousse. I don't mean any disrespect to Aero or shop bought Chocolate Mousses, but, the shop bought ones normally have more of a bubblier texture than a homemade one ever does. The exterior had a bit of a snap to it which was nice as it contrasted against the velvetiness of the interior of the bar.

The taste of the bar was pretty much the taste of the original Alpine Milk flavour that is in a lot of Milka Bars. Slightly creamy without being too sickly. I love the Alpine Milk flavour. As the flavour isn't too sickly, it means that I can appreciate the flavour without wanting to put the bar away after a square. I noticed that this bar had a bit of a nutty after taste to it which I quite liked as it cut through the taste of the Chocolate quite nicely.

Would I buy it again? I think I would. I quite like the texture and the flavour of the bar makes me want more so I think that I would definitely search for this whilst in a supermarket.

Have you tried this bar? Let me know down below.

Milka Noisette Chocolate Bar Review

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today, I would talk to you all about the Noisette Chocolate Bar from Milka.

After seeing a plethora of purple bars of Milka when I went to Home Bargains, I thought that I would pick up a few different flavours and tell you all what I thought about them.

I saw that they had a 'Noisette' flavour and was intrigued. The only other time that I have noticed a Noisette flavoured Chocolate product is when I've been looking in the Lindt Chocolate store within Leeds.

'Milka Noisette Chocolate Bar is made with alpine milk chocolate and hazelnut cream for an unforgettable treat!' - Amazon.

I loved the texture of this bar, but, sadly there wasn't a major contrast compared to other bars that I've tried , such as the Confetti Bar from Milka. The main texture contrast was between the smooth Chocolate exterior and the more truffle based interior. I loved this as I realise that not every bar of Chocolate has to have a textural difference in it, but when reviewing a food product, I do like to talk about texture as it is a main component of the bar.

The flavour of this bar was amazing. When taking a bite of this bar, you instantly get the slightly creamy yet not overly sweet Milk Chocolate that Milka is known for and then after a few moments, a sea of sweet and indulgent Hazelnut Chocolate cream floods your tastebuds. The after taste is a minute of both the Chocolate and Hazelnut filling. If you ever wanted Nutella to be put into a Chocolate Bar then this Noisette Chocolate Bar pretty much encompasses that concept.

Would I buy this product again? A thousand times, yes. I love anything that is Hazelnut and Chocolate flavoured and this product definitely did not disappoint me. I think that this is definitely going to be one of those bars that I search for when I'm at the supermarket and if you haven't tried it then I urge you to.

Have you tried this product before? Is there any new food products that I should try? Let me know down below!

Milka Confetti Review

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post. I saw some goodies, whilst shopping in Home Bargains, and I thought that I would talk to you about them today.

I was walking through the aisles and saw a shiny purple bar shining at me. I went towards the shimmer and realised that it was a bar of Milka Chocolate. I have forever loved Milka Chocolate! I decided to pick a couple of bars up, but the main bar that I was intrigued by was the Confetti Bar.

A rectangular purple bar with milk in white font with a picture of a brown square chocolate piece with circular colourful candy pieces coming out of it with Confetti in white font below on a bright background

'Delicious alpine milk chocolate with colorful cocoa pieces.' - A description of the bar from Amazon.

The taste of this bar was great. The bar itself had a milky taste, without being cloying sweet, which some bars can be. When you taste a piece of this product, you can still taste the chocolate. The milk just adds a slight sweetness to it which makes you wanting more of the bar. The 'Confetti' pieces, added a touch of sugar to the bar, but didn't add much flavour to the bar.

I loved the texture of this bar! The smooth velvety chocolate against the crunchy pieces of chocolate beans. it meant that finding a chocolate bean/confetti piece was a great surprise for the mouth. If you have ever had the Smarties bar, then imagine the same concept but with bigger pieces of candy pieces within the bar. if you like a little bit of crunch with your chocolate then you will definitely love this product.

Would I buy this again? Oh definitely, I love something with a bit of texture when it comes to Chocolate Bars. The taste is amazing and it is colourful. I see no reason of why I wouldn't want to buy this again. I bought a couple of other bars from Milka so look out for those blog posts.

Have you tried this or any of the Milka Bars? Let me know down below!

Hershey's Cookies 'N' Mint Review

Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today, I would talk to you all about something that I found whilst I was doing my essential shopping trip.

I was in Home Bargains, getting some thing that I needed for the week and I saw something that caught my eye. I went up to see what it was and saw that it was a Hershey's Cookies and Mint bar. I had never seen them before and thought to myself, that I had to get one because I love anything that contains Mint, so I did!

A rectangular white bar in white packaging with Hersheys in black big font with cookies 'n' mint in green font on a bright background

First of all, I mainly got it because the packaging drew me in and I saw the word Mint, but I didn't;t realise that it was a White Chocolate based product. I'm very particular when it comes to White Chocolate products. I'm not sure why, but I just am. When you bite into a piece of the bar, you instantly get a kick of marvellous Mint. The Mint alone isn't too strong but is still noticeable. I know that Mint based products have a very reminiscent note of Toothpaste to them, but in my opinion, this bar did not.

As I mentioned at the beginning, I'm not the biggest fan of White Chocolate. I have to be in one of those moods to enjoy it otherwise I don't really want to eat it. The White Chocolate cut through some of the Mint flavour which ensured that Mint flavour within the bar wasn't too strong but my main problem with this, is that the Mint and White Chocolate combined together gave the bar a peculiar aftertaste. I don't know how to fully explain it, but in my opinion, the bar had a sort of sour aftertaste?  It's not an overwhelming aftertaste but it was enough to make me wonder what was causing it.

I loved the texture of this bar. I loved the contrast between the smooth creamy chocolate and the nubbly pieces of milk chocolate based cookies. I loved eating a piece of this product and then being surprised every time my mouth found a piece of Cookie. If you have ever tried the Mint Dairy Milk and Oreo bar, and loved the texture of the interior of the bar, then you will love this. Imagine that but with more crunch and less cream.

Would I buy this product again? Probably. Would I go out of my way to buy it? Probably not, but if I was in a supermarket and I saw it then I would pick it up. Would I suggest this bar to others? Hell yeah, if you love White Chocolate and Mint then you will love this!
