Hey everyone!
Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today I would talk to you all about the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice X Lush Collaboration Range.
Bath Bombs:
The Afterlife
This Bath Bomb will send you right to the afterlife.
This bath bomb contains Popping Candy, Juniperberry Oil and Sweet Wild Orange Oil. This combination of oils creates a sort of fruity and sweet Grape scent. If you have smelt Grape Soda Body Spray from Lush and loved the scent of it then you’ll love the scent of this Bath Bomb as they share the same scent. I quite like it but when I first smelt the Body Spray I was so unsure on what to think of it but I think that this scent works beautifully for Halloween as it reminds me a bit of trick or treating or honestly taking some candy into the cinema to watch Beetlejuice Beetlejuice with.
The best way to describe The Afterlife as a concept is to imagine if the Intergalactic Bath Bomb from Lush went to the Afterlife and came back as a brand new bath bomb.
I adore this bath bomb! Not only does it fit the aesthetic of the Beetlejuice franchise as a whole by being spooky with a campy twist but also I love this bath bomb as it creates the best bath art ever and truly makes for a frighteningly amazing bathing experience. Not only does this bath bomb spin, twirl and fizz in the waters but it also creates a truly dark bath and the popping candy in the bath bomb crackle for what feels like an eternity.
Bob
Bob is here to make bath time a fine time!
This Bath Bomb contains Labdanum Resinoid, Sicilian Lemon Oil and Vetivert Oil.
I think some will either love or loathe Bob when they smell them. The mixture of oils in this bath bomb create a sort of creamy slightly banana scent to me. Sort of fresh Banana mixed with a splash of Vanilla with a spicy undertone from the Vetivert. I do quite like this but I think I have to be in a specific mood to use it. I think I have to be in that mood for something on the slightly woody side I think I will slowly love this scent a little bit more when the weather drops a tiny bit as it screams sort of a cold Autumn evening sort of bath to me. This shares the same scent as the Christmas exclusive that was out a few years ago from Lush called Elfie Stick. If you like creamy scents but want something that isn’t just creamy Vanilla then I think that you will love Bob!
Bubble Bar:
Never Trust The Living
The Living can be such menaces! The only way to get them to calm down is by letting them make the house their own by giving them a Lush Bubble Bar!
This bubble bar contains Grapefruit Oil, Davana Oil, Elemi Oil and Tagetes Oil. These oils blend together to create a very zesty and bright scent that to me reminds me a bit of sour Peach Rings that you used to be able to get from the pick and mix section in supermarkets and cinemas. If you have smelt the Prachy Range at Lush and loved it then you will love this Bubble Bar too as they share the same scent! When I sniff this bubble bar I weirdly get a Pineapple note from it too. I’ve been pairing it with the Peaches Body Spray from Lush and they have gone so well together!
Shower Gel:
The Juice Is Loose
You never know what’s going to happen when the Juice is Loose!
I mean we all need a Beetlejuice inspired Shower Gel for the spooky season, right?!
This Shower Gel contains Carrageenan Extract, Juniperberry Oil and Sweet Wild Orange Oil.
This Shower Gel would be a perfect match with The Afterlife for someone who loves Beetlejuice. I love this as the Carageenan helps to soothe and moisturise the skin whilst the oils create a truly deep yet fruity Grape scent that makes me think of Trick or Treat Candy.
Hair:
Goth Juice
It’s time to let your inner goth out and have fun with your hair!
Goth Juice contains Olibanum Resinoid, Oakmoss Absolute, Cold Press Hemp Seed Oil and Organic Linseed Oil.
The Olibanum and Oakmoss blend together to create a sort of dark green scent. To me this gives off a sort of walking through a forest at night sort of scent. I know that sounds weird but fresh yet dark and mysterious is the vibe that I get from the scent of Goth Juice which makes sense with the name of the product.
As there is Linseed and Hemp Seed Oil in this product, when I apply it I notice that there isn’t any crunching of the hair happening which I adore as sometimes I tend to stay away from styling products due to the sensory difficulties that a styling product setting and thus making my hair crunch sometimes brings.
I have been using this for a while now and the scent slightly lingers in my hair but isn’t so strong that it clashes a lot with a perfume or body spray. The hold on this hair product to me is a sort of medium hold which I adore as it means that I can apply it and not feel like I’m stuck if I get bored halfway during the day and want to change it a bit which happens quite a bit. If you know anyone who is in need of a new styling product or someone who wants to dress up as Beetlejuice for Halloween then this is definitely the product for them!
Gift:
Run! Sandworm! Run!
No, not the sandworm! You better run for your life from them!
This Gift is a 3 part product. This gift contains a bath bomb, bubble bar and soap. When all three of these products are put next to one another it creates the iconic Sandworm from the Beetlejuice franchise.
This gift contains Cedarwood Oil, acedarleaf Oil and Violet Leaf Oil to create a dark yet slightly floral scent that makes you sniff quite a bit to wonder what the scent is.
Honestly this is the true gift for anyone in your life who is a Beetlejuice fan.
I love this as it essentially creates a bathing routine without overthinking it. I also love how this a brand new scent from Lush that is slightly mysterious and unknown. I really do hope that Lush branch out with this scent as I think a Shower Gel on the scent would be amazing! This is definitely the perfect gift for someone on your life who loves Beetlejuice and is obsessed with the brand new Beetlejuice Beetlejuice film.
Have you watched the new film? Have you already checked out any of the products in the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice X Lush range? Let me know!
Thanks for reading!
