Hey everyone!
Welcome to a brand new blog post! I was kindly gifted by Lush the 29 High Street Candle from the new Lush X Community Candle Range and I thought that today I would talk to you all about it.
Lush has released a brand new Lush X Community Range focusing on all things Candles. Lush have released Candles in the past but they have decided to upgrade them and rerelease them. Alongside rereleasing them, Lush allowed the Lush Community to have their say on what scents the Candles should be released in and now they are available to the public to purchase them and finally make your house smell like some of the iconic scents from Lush.
These brand new candles come in four iconic scents from Lush. 29 High Street which is known to smell like walking past a Lush store, Honey I Washed The Kids, Hot Toddy which will make your house smell like a spicy Winter Wonderland and Intergalactic for those who want their house to smell truly out of this world.
These candles now come in a sleek black tin have a slightly new formula which helps the candles to project a stronger lasting throw, are GMO free, Paraffin free and now have a 35 hour burn time.
29 High Street contains Jasmine Absolute, Sicilian Lemon Oil, Lime Oil, Sandalwood Oil, Tonka Absolute and Ylang Ylang Oil. This mixture of sweet, tart, creamy, woody and floral combine to create a smell reminiscent of the scent that you can smell when you walk into a Lush store.
I have been burning this candle for the past few days and I have loved it. I have been burning it in the hallway and I have been able to smell it from the bottom of the staircase. It really has made the house smell like the inside of a Lush store which I have really been enjoying. I mean who doesn’t want their house to smell like the inside of a Lush store? It has just perked me up after a long hard day.
I have burnt it a couple of times and I haven’t noticed any tunnelling really which is fabulous as sometimes after the first couple of burns, candles in my experience have a tendency to tunnel a bit. I may just not be the best at looking after candles but I didn’t notice this happening at all with the 29 High Street Candle. I have also noticed that there looks like the wax and wick have barely moved from when I have been burning it even when I’ve trimmed the wick so I can definitely tell that the candle will definitely last the 35 hour burn time that it stated. I would even suggest that the candles would last even longer than 35 hours but I’d need to time and burn a candle at the same time and I don’t see that going that well for me…
I love the brand new tins. I enjoyed the old version of the Candles from Lush especially the old Karma Single Wick Candle but i really prefer the lid version of these candles as it just makes it a lot easier to blow out without having that sometimes overpowering scent of burnt wick flood the air of the room that the candle has been burning in. You can just put the lid back on the tin and the candle has blown itself out. I just love it.
If you know anyone who is a lover of Lush then I think that not only will they love these Lush X Community Candles but I think that grabbing the Iconic Door Bath Bomb, the 29 High Street Perfume that is now available at select stores in the UK and the 29 High Street Candle would make an amazing gift for Christmas!
The Lush X Community Candles (prices range from £12-£18) are only here for a limited time at Lush stores, on the Lush App and Website so don’t walk run to your local Lush store to give then a sniff and snap them up before they go!
Keep an eye on the blog as I will be reviewing the rest of the Lish X Commhnitg Candle Range!
Thanks again to Lush for sending me this amazing Candle!
