Lush X Community Body Scrubs 2025 Range

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I thought that today I’d talk to you all about the Lush X Community Body Scrubs 2025 Range.

If you checked out my previous blog post then you’ll know that I have reviewed both The Comforter and Botanomancy Body Scrubs as Lush very kindly sent these for me to test and review. If you haven’t checked that blog post out then please click here. Due to this, in this blog post I’ll be mainly focusing on the rest of the range.

In the Lush X Community Body Scrubs 2025 Range, there are five beautiful body scrubs. There’s The Comforter, Botanomancy, Creamy Candy, Karma and Posh Chocolate.

A stack of five clinical plastic clear pots in au shape. Each having a different colour scrub and label. All names are written on the rectangular labels in white with lush in white underneath them in small font. Botanomancy is dark green, creamy candy is pink, karma is orange, posh chocolate is brown and the comforter is purple on a light brown rectangular shelf on a bright background

Creamy Candy

List Of Ingredients:

Caster Sugar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Almond Oil, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, Perfume, Vanilla Absolute, Lactic Acid, Titanium Dioxide, Lauryl Betaine, Alpha-Isomethyl lonone, Colour 45410:2, Colour 17200.

All of the Lush X Community Body Scrubs have a Caster Sugar base which creates a soft squishy body scrub that gently scrubs away dead skin to reveal glowing new skin.

If you haven’t smelt Creamy Candy before then imagine a creamy slightly sweet candy floss scent that instantly reminds you of being a child at a fairground.

Creamy Candy contains Vanilla Absolute and Organic Almond Oil which combine to create a truly iconic sweet scent that has survived the test of time (Creamy Candy has been at Lush since 1995!) I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to the strength of the scent in this particular scrub but I was pleasantly surprised. Sweet and creamy yet not overwhelmingly cloying.

I scooped a chunk of this scrumptious scrub onto my arms first thing in the morning  and was impressed by how it performed. The scrub felt soft on my skin but still had a touch of grit to it so I could feel it working its magic when I was massaging it into my skin. When I stepped out of the shower, I noticed that my body felt glorious compared to stepping in the shower and I could smell a creamy scent on my skin that lingered for a while.

If you’re a fan of candy floss scents or are craving that beautiful Snow Fairy scent all year round then I think that this Body Scrub would definitely be for you! I love both Snow Fairy and Creamy Candy but I have to be in a particular mood to truly enjoy it so I can’t wait to be in that mood so I can crumble a Creamy Candy Bubble Bar up and use this beautiful body scrub!

Karma

List Of Ingredients:

Caster Sugar, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Perfume, Illipe Butter, Fair Trade Organic Mango Butter, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Brazilian Orange Oil, Lavandin Oil, Pine Oil, Lemongrass Oil, Elemi Oil, Witch Hazel Extract, Water (Aqua), Lactic Acid, Laurel Betaine, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Hydroxycitronellal, Limonene, Linalool, Colour 14700.

If you have been reading my blog for a while now then you will know that I adore the Karma scent from Lush so I was thoroughly excited when I heard that they would be releasing a Karma Body Scrub!

If you haven’t smelt Karma from Lush then imagine walking through the markets in your city centre that are full of indie shops where you can smell a mixture of fresh citrus fruit and a mixture of herbal scents such as Patchouli and Pine from incense burning combined together to create a truly unique fragrance.  Karma is inspired by 60’s London and I can totally smell where the inspiration has come from!

I know this is going to be no surprise but I adore this Body Scrub. It is pure excellence for me! I decided to go full out just because I was having a bit of a bad day during the week that I was reviewing these and had an everything shower centralised around the Karma Fragrance. Body Scrub, Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Retro Dusting Powder, Perfume. It was utter heaven and exactly what I needed. I took a good chunk of this body scrub and massaged it all over my body. Whilst massaging, I was instantly hit with the intoxicating scent that is Karma. I inhaled the fragrance, had a moment to myself and washed it off. I know that I had an everything shower but I instantly noticed after using the scrub that my skin felt quite smooth and not tight like it sometimes does after using certain body scrubs. Yknow that sort of oh has my skin not agreed with this scrub/has it actually scrubbed too much skin off feeling? When massaging it into my skin I also noticed a nourishing lather.I’m guessing that I didn’t have this feeling due to the nourishing oils and butters that this body scrub is brimming with such as Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Extra Virgin Organic Olive Oil, Illipe Butter and Fair Trade Organic Mango Butter.

If you’re a fan of the Karma scent from Lush like myself then I urge you to go and try it if you haven’t already and treat yourself to a tub! You deserve it!

Posh Chocolate

List Of Ingredients:

Glycerine, Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Fair Trade Organic Aloe Vera Gel, Hazelnut Milk, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocoa Powder, Perfume, Cocoa Absolute, Australian Sandalwood Oil, Vanilla Absolute, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Linalool.

Who doesn’t want to be smelling of delicious chocolate? I mean my stomach hates lactose and even I want to smell like a chocolaty snack! Well if you do too then now is the time as Lush have made it possible by listening to everyone who wants to smell like a rich dessert and have created a Posh Chocolate Body Scrub that pairs beautifully with the Posh Chocolate Body Wash that shares the same scent.

If you haven’t smelt Posh Chocolate then imagine the smell of when you open a jar of a very well known Chocolate Hazelnut Spread but even better!

I used this in a bath before bed and honestly it was one of the best ideas I’ve had in a while when it comes to products and self care. I scooped some and scrubbed it into my skin and not only did my skin feel amazing but so did myself. I just felt comforted due to the beautiful smell coming from the body scrub and the beautiful nourishing oils in this scrub. I did use some on my elbows that get dry quite quickly and noticed that they felt very different and incredibly smooth when I got out of the bath which I was surprised at!

If you’re looking for a nourishing and comforting body scrub to use at night or for a scrub that will leave you smelling delightful then I think that you should check out Posh Chocolate Body Scrub and grab yourself some. If you are giving this to someone as a gift then do ensure that they know that it is for the body and not to be eaten as I’ve had a few family members get confused when I’ve gifted them the Posh Chocolate Body Wash.

these body scrubs are only available at Lush for a limited time so do pick them up before they go!

If you were to choose a scent from Lush that isn’t mentioned in this blog post to be turned into a Body Scrub then what scent would you choose? Let me know in the comments section and on social media as I’d love to know your thoughts!

Lush X Community Body Scrubs 2025 | Botanomancy & The Comforter

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I was kindly sent some of the upcoming Lush X Community Body Scrubs by the lovely Community Team at Lush and I thought that today I would talk to you all about them!

The Lush X Community Ranges are all about letting you, the Lush Community, choose scents that you would like to see in a specific product and this time it’s the turn of Body Scrubs. Lush have been releasing some amazing Body Scrubs in the past year such as Sticky Dates, Intergalactic and The Old Songs Are Waking just to name a few!

The Body Scrubs in the Lush X Community Body Scrubs 2025 Range all contain Caster Sugar which helps to exfoliate the skin and a plethora of butters and oils which help to nourish the skin because well 2025 is all about having soft and supple skin!

The scents featured in this Lush X Community Body Scrubs Range are Karma, Posh Chocolate, Creamy Candy, The Comforter and Botanomancy.

I was kindly sent the Botanomancy and The Comforter Body Scrubs.

A wide angled photo of a light brown square box filled with green eco pops with a pink rectangular card that says limited edition body scrubs in white font with two cykdiencual plastic tall tubs next to it. One filled with green body scrubs with bits of white and pink swirled through with a green toned label that says Botanomancy body scrub lush in pink font next to a tub filled with purple and white scrub with a purple-red label with the comforter body scrubs in white font with lush underneath in the same font on a bright background

Botanomancy Body Scrub contains Caster Sugar, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Illipe Butter, Fair Trade Organic Mango Butter, Dark Sumatran Patchouli Oil, Ginger Oil, Pimento Berry Oil, Petitgrain Oil and West Timor Sandalwood Oil.

The blend of butters and oils such as Cocoa Butter and Olive Oil create a soft texture to the scrub that reminds me a bit of a firm marshmallow. I know that this may sound a bit weird but I’d say it’s squishy but firmer than the Body Wash Delights from Lush if you have tried them before. When I scooped some out of the tub, I noticed that I didn’t really have to put much pressure on the scrub to get some out of the tub. I massaged this into my skin and noticed that the sort of marshmallow like texture transformed into a luxurious creamy texture. I kept massaging this on my skin for a fair while because well I could feel how moisturising it was on my skin and I wanted to ensure that my skin was not only completely exfoliated but coated in the unique and rich scent of Botanomancy. (I was also having one of those days and just needed to take my time and really ensure that I pampered myself). I rinsed my body and noticed that my skin had transformed from feeling quite dry to soft and supple. (My skin has been going through it at the moment due to the weather in the UK right now especially parts of my body such as my arms that have felt quite rough and dry this past week).

Botanomancy shares the same scent as the 4:20pm Range at Lush. This range does contain CBD so sadly it does mean that some countries aren’t able to try out the range due to the laws in their countries. The best way to describe Botanomancy is imagine a spicy green scent and then multiply that by ten. The Patchouli and Ginger create a deep spicy scent whilst Petitgrain and Sandalwood add an element of a green woody note to the scent. I guess the best way to describe it is imagine the smell of burnt incense mixed with a forest. If you have tried Lord Of Misrule or Tramp from Lush and adored them then you will adore this.

The Comforter Body Scrub contains Caster Sugar, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Almond Oil, Bergamot Oil, Blackcurrant Absolute and Cypress Oil.

The scent of this Body Scrub is amazing. If you haven’t tried anything in The Comforter scent from Lush before then imagine a slightly creamy yet punchy Blackcurrant scent that just makes you feel soothed and well comforted… If you’ve not tried The Comforter from Lush  then imagine the scent of Ribena but even better and in bathing form! A strong fruity Blackcurrant scent that makes you feel happy and nostalgic of when you were a child.

I opened the lid to this Scrub when I received it and instantly fell in love. Fruity yet slightly creamy in all the best ways possible. The smell of this body scrub instantly took me back to years ago when I fell in love with The Comforter scent when I first picked up a The Comforter Bubble Bar and a tub of Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly.

I scooped a little bit of this glorious body scrub out of the tub and massaged it into my skin. I noticed that the scent intensified whilst massaging it into my skin which made me fall in love with the scrub even more than I thought I could. Whilst massaging it into my skin, I also noticed that it lathered into a skin nourishing serum like texture that just glided over my skin. Like Botanomancy, I spent a couple of minutes just massaging and taking in the scent and realising that sometimes all you need is a The Comforter bath to make everything feel better. When I stepped out of the bath, I noticed that my skin felt quite smooth and soft. It felt quite nourished which I wasn’t expecting as I thought that the serum like lather may not be enough for my dry skin but it really was! To truly review the scrub, I decided to test this on my hand and in the bath on two different occasions, on both occasions I could smell the scent on my skin for quite a while after scrubbing it off. If you want to really treat yourself during the miserable Winter time that is happening right now then I’d suggest pairing this with either The Comforter Bubble Bar or the new Lovestruck Bath Bomb from the Valentines Day Range or if you’re wanting a quick shower to prep you for the day ahead you could pair it with Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly, The Comforter Shower Gel that are back at Lush as part of the Archive Wall or even Posh Chocolate Shower Gel for truly scrumptious shower experience alongside The Comforter Body Spray. Trust me, not only will any of the combos that I’ve listed help you feel like you can conquer the day ahead but you’ll be smelling like an utterly delightful snack!

All of the Body Scrubs in this Lush X Community Range are available in a 135g and a 290g tub and are available to purchase in stores, online and on the Lush App in the UK. If you’re based in America then you’ll be available to purchase these amazing scrubs from the 25th February. Please check your countries Lush App to check if these scrumptious scrubs are available to purchase.

Have you managed to try any of the new Lush X Community Body Scrubs? What scents from Lush would you love to see in a Body Scrub format? Let me know!

I have tried and tested the rest of the range so do keep a look out for the blog post about the rest of the Lush X Community Body Scrubs that is coming very soon!

Shopping Until I Drop… A Bath Bomb Accidentally | Lush Boxing Day Sale At Lush White Rose

 Hey everyone!

Welcome to a brand new blog post! I recently managed to go to the Lush Boxing Day Sale at Lush White Rose in Leeds so I thought that today I would talk to you all about my experience and what I managed to pick up!

A wide angled photo of a rectangular stone store with a black strip at the top with lush in white font with a glass rectangular window below with the power of smelling good in black font on a. White background on a bright background

Myself and Luke managed to grab a taxi on the morning of Boxing Day and head to White Rose Shopping Centre. This didn’t take long and even the taxi driver commented on how quiet the roads were which was unusaual for them!

We arrived at White Rose, thanked the taxi driver and headed to Lush. We got to near Lush and was told to join the queue which we did. Sadly Luke sometimes struggles with queues due to use a cane and trying to manage the narrow barriers and getting their cane caught underneath them sometimes. We did tell the staff who were managing the queues this and was ignored. Luke decided to just carry on as the staff may have not heard them and it was a busy day (I did instantly message White Rose when this happened). We joined the second queue to the store and after a while the lovely Jas found us and escorted us to the store which meant that we could skip the queue which was very kind of them to do so and that Luke could save some energy trying to manage the queue with this cane and enjoy the sale and shopping at Lush White Rose.

We had a chat with the wonderful Jas before Jason greeted us and very kindly told us that they would be guiding us around the store to ensure that we had an amazing shopping experience. We’ve done Lush Boxing Day Sales in the past and it can be overwhelming and a little bit dangerous for both myself and Luke. Luke has been barged into and nearly had his cane knocked out of his hand before and I’ve been elbowed a fair few times in previous years for being near those gloriously pink tinted Snow Fairy products.
Jason guided us around the store beautifully and went through every product that was on sale including some goodies that weren’t a part of the Christmas Range and instead were a part of the Retro Wall which surprised me as I wasn’t expecting anything from the wall to go on sale!

After perusing the shelves for a while and grabbing products for both of us, we made our way over to the tills where Jas found us again to escort us to the tills to ensure that we weren’t struggling waiting in the queue which was really amazing of them to do.
We chatted whilst the lovely Sarah packed our bags and talked to us about the Christmas Range as a whole! I would like to also add that the lovely Lorna was an absolute star. When it comes to access for trips and events such as the Lush Boxing Day Sale, I like to email ahead and when I did this year for the Sale, Lorna helped in every way possible including asking what accessibility features would work best for myself and Luke and planned according to our needs. This is amazing as I stated at the beginning of the post that we have both had some mixed experiences doing Lush Sales in various different shops and knowing what to expect beforehand and getting some help beforehand just takes a bit of weight off myself and Luke and helps us to have a great day out shopping. Lorna was even so lovely to let us check out the Lunar New Year Range before it launched to stores and online. (It’s out by the time this post will be live so go check it out if you can).
